Welcome to Ravinia

Ravinia prides itself on its family-friendly environment. This lively,

natural park is the perfect place to introduce young listeners to classical

music. This book is filled with activities for you to learn about music

and information about concerts happening at Ravinia. We hope you

enjoy your visit!

Tickets

All children, including infants, must have a ticket to enter the park.

Lawn admission to classical concerts held in the Pavilion and Martin

Theatre is free for kids age 15 and under (excluding the July 15 Gala).

High-school and college students are also admitted free to the lawn

with a valid student ID for those same concerts, except movie nights,

for which lawn passes are $10.

Lawn admission to non-classical concerts is free for children ages 2

and under and ay be discounted for children ages 3–10 (check each

concert’s page on

Helpful Tips for Parents

Kids must be 7 years or older to sit in the Pavilion, Martin Theatre or

Bennett Gordon Hall, unless it is a performance for kids or part of the

Kids Concert series.

Never leave your child unattended. If he or she does get lost, notify a

security guard or park attendant. We will immediately help you locate

your child.
