Global Music Awards in 2016 for his recording
of Davis’s

. Quint made his or-
chestral debut at age 13 after winning Saint Pe-
tersburg’s Boccherini Competition, and in 1992,
having moved to the United States, he made his
New York recital and orchestral debuts at the
92nd Street Y and Avery Fisher Hall. He has also
given recitals at major venues in England, Ger-
many, Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, and much of
Eastern Europe, partnering with such artists as
Nikolai Znaider, Vadim Repin, Shlomo Mintz,
Julian Rachlin, and Jean-Bernard Pommier.
Quint is the founder and music director of the
InterHarmony Music Festival in both Germany
and Italy, as well as the InterHarmony Concert
Series at Carnegie Hall and the Modern Muse-
um of Art in Fort Worth.
Theresa Bogard
is an active per-
former combining
varied
interests
in historical per-
formance,
con-
temporary music,
chamber music,
and the music of
women compos-
ers. She studied piano at the Sydney Conserva-
tory of Music, University of Colorado–Boulder,
and Eastman School of Music. In 1988, she re-
ceived a Fulbright Grant to study fortepiano at
the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and she
was a top-prize winner in the International
Mozart Fortepiano Competition in Bruges, Bel-
gium, the following year. Bogard has presented
programs of solo and chamber music across the
United States, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia,
Austria, Bolivia, Korea, Indonesia, China, and
Brazil, and she is featured on a recording of pia-
no works by Louise Talma. Sought after as a col-
laborative pianist, Bogard can also be heard on
two recordings by saxophonist Scott Turpen, a
disc of flute and piano music by Eastern Europe-
an composers with Nicole Riner, and a recently
released recording of chamber works by Jennifer
Higdon.
Julia
Coronelli
recently complet-
ed a fellowship as
principal harpist
of the New World
Symphony. Born
in Chicago, she
began
playing
the harp at age 4
and has earned
a BM from the Chicago College of Perform-
ing Arts and an MM in Harp Performance
from The Juilliard School. Coronelli has been a
guest of orchestras around the world, including
the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (on its East
Coast tour), New York Philharmonic, City of
Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Saint Louis
Symphony, San Diego Symphony, and Milwau-
kee Symphony Orchestra within the past year.
She has also been heard on recordings and live
on NPR, WFMT and WQXR, and PBS’s
Great
Performances
. Coronelli regularly promotes new
music with the New Juilliard Ensemble, Axiom,
and Syzygy New Music, as well as on the CSO’s
MusicNow series and Tanglewood’s Festival of
Contemporary Music.
Gwen Dease
is
professor of per-
cussion at Mich-
igan State Uni-
versity’s College
of Music and is
on the faculty of
the Brevard Mu-
sic Center, having
previously
held
positions at the Filarmonica Joven de Colombia
and Interlochen Arts Camp. She began studying
music at age 2 on the piano and violin, and she
maintains an active career as a solo/chamber
musician, performing throughout the United
States, Asia, and South America. Dease is also
currently principal percussionist of the Lansing
Symphony Orchestra and Brevard Music Center
Orchestra, and she has been a guest of the De-
troit Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Philhar-
monic, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, and Solisti
New York Orchestra, among others. Passionate
about new music, she has participated in con-
sortia to commission new works from Alejan-
dro Vinao, Peter Klatzow, Paul Lansky, Martin
Bresnick, John Serry, and Roshanne Etezady.
Her discography includes four solo albums,
most recently
Beguiled
on Origin Classical, and
several collaborations, including a recording
of Philip Glass’s Double Timpani Concerto for
Naxos.
