Over 85,000 people are served through Ravinia’s Reach*Teach*Play programs each year. Our programs are designed to educate, foster diverse

audience involvement, and ensure equitable access to live music experiences in the community and at Ravinia.

Music Discovery Program

students explore music in their classroom

with the help of a Ravinia teaching artist

and have the opportunity to perform in

school and at Ravinia.

Sistema Ravinia

orchestra students from schools in Waukegan and Chicago perform and participate in

workshops with Ravinia artists such as Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway (above). Sistema Ravinia is an

intensive orchestral training initiative that fosters social development through exceptional music instruction.
