Chief Operating Officer

BMO Financial Corp.

Enriching our communities with music, art, and

cultural events is a tradition we continue to honor at

BMO Harris Bank. We are pleased to be a longtime

supporter of Ravinia and take delight in the annual

“sounds of summer” the festival brings to our community. By opening

its doors to world-class musicians, Ravinia breaks down cultural barriers

with a varied lineup of artists whose work inspires and entertains

audiences of all ages. As Chicago is home to many of our employees and

customers, BMO Harris Bank considers it a particular privilege to play a

part in supporting one of Chicago’s

most beloved, festive summer events.

Midtown Athletic Clubs

According to my sister, everyone needs a library card

and a membership to a health club. Sound mind,

sound body. To that I’d add, everyone needs a little

Ravinia in the summer. Growing up within blocks of

Ravinia, I loved the music I heard on summer afternoons as musicians

rehearsed for each night’s performance. The music helped shape the

community and brought friends together on summer nights. At Midtown,

we are committed to creating clubs that bring family and friends together

to work out, swim, play tennis and other sports, dine, shop, relax, and

socialize. Located in Bannockburn, Chicago, Palatine, and Willowbrook,

they are sports resorts right here at home. As a sponsor, Midtown

takes pride in supporting the Ravinia Festival

community as an extension of our belief that

active, social people lead happier, healthier lives.

In Memory of Howard A. Stotler

We are so very fortunate to have such a great summer

festival for the city of Chicago and its surrounding

neighbors; the quality of the programming and its

leadership have brought us a wide range of great

talent for our summer enjoyment. Howard was very

happy to have participated in bringing the efforts of

the Ravinia Festival to the public.

Bobette Takiff

For me, summer begins when Ravinia’s gates open.

Music has always been an important part of my life. It

is with joy that I sponsor one of the Bernstein

celebration programs, music of Gershwin, Copland and

Stravinsky, three of my favorite composers.

Ravinia Women’s Board

Since 1962, the Women’s Board has promoted Ravinia through a wide

range of initiatives, from enhancing audiences’ enjoyment of the festival

experience, to furthering appreciation of music and the arts, to educating

young performers, whether gifted or simply enthusiastic. This broad-

based mission of the Women’s Board is accomplished through highly

successful fundraising and the ongoing commitment of its dynamic

volunteers. Our two major fundraisers, the newly redesigned Festival

Shop and the annual summer Gala, continue to raise funds each year that

help support our mission. The Women’s Board also raises significant

funds through its sponsorship of the Ravinia Cruise, which will set sail in

spring 2019 aboard Uniworld’s SS

Catherine

and journey through

southern France from Burgundy to Provence.

This summer the Women’s Board looks forward to its first Sunday Gala

celebration on July 15, “Sunday in the Park with Audra,” starring Audra

McDonald and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andy

Einhorn. Contributions toward this event help to provide funding for

Ravinia’s Reach*Teach*Play music education programs serving 85,000

individuals throughout Cook and Lake Counties. The Women’s Board is

also proud to sponsor the August 18 CSO performance of Bernstein’s

Slava!

, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major, and

Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 conducted by

Marin Alsop with pianist Igor Levit.
