TICKETS

Tickets may be ordered online at

Ravinia.org

and also by phone at 847‑266‑5100 or in person

at the box office during the hours posted online.

If you are unable to use your tickets, please con‑

sider donating them to the festival for resale.

Ticket donations may be made in person or

by phone up until the time of the concert. You

will be emailed a receipt for the tax‑deductible

donation.

BGH CLASSICS SERIES

Tickets to Bennett Gordon Hall concerts are not

valid for admission to any other events held on

the same date. Those exiting BGH into the park

will be asked to show their separate concert tick‑

ets. BGH concerts are not broadcast to the lawn.

SELLOUT POLICY

To ensure audience comfort, walk‑up ticket sales

will not be made on the day of sold‑out concerts.

One‑time‑use lawn passes are not valid on sold‑

out evenings unless otherwise noted.

CONCERT CONTENT

Ravinia does not censor or control the content

created by guest artists. If you have sensitivities

to adult language or socio‑political commen‑

tary, please be aware of the artists’ work before

purchasing tickets to and/or attending their

performances.

WEATHER

Concerts take place rain or shine. Ravinia may

delay the start, interrupt, or even cancel a con‑

cert if an emergency situation occurs. Refunds

are not given due to weather unless a concert

is canceled in its entirety, with no replacement

performance scheduled.

CHILDREN

Children under age 7 are not allowed in the Pa‑

vilion, Martin Theatre, or Bennett Gordon Hall

except for Kids Concerts and designated family

programs. Ravinia requires parental supervision

of all children attending the festival.

NO SMOKING

Ravinia is a smoke‑free environment. Desig‑

nated smoking areas are located outside the

entrance gates. Use of electronic cigarettes or

vapor devices is also limited to these areas.

QUIET LISTENING

Ravinia requests that audiences refrain from

talking during concerts or making other dis‑

turbing sounds. Please silence all electronic de‑

vices before the performance.

SECURITY PROCEDURES

For the safety of all guests, all items brought into

the park (including, without limitation, coolers,

picnic baskets, bags, backpacks, and purses) are

subject to search upon entry or reentry into the

park and may be inspected again before entry

into the Pavilion. A metal‑detection wand will

be used to scan patrons. Ravinia reserves the

right to refuse admission to guests who refuse

to submit to wanding or a security search. Fire‑

arms and explosives are not permitted in the

park, including those possessed by active or

off‑duty service members.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not allowed to be

brought into Ravinia: grills; beer kegs; athletic

equipment (e.g., footballs, flying discs); bicy‑

cles, scooters, and skates (bike racks are located

outside the box office); pets (service animals are

permitted); tents or canopies; umbrellas over

six feet in diameter; anything that needs to be

staked into the ground; personal stereos; drones

or other flying apparatus; and weapons. Call

847‑266‑5100 for more information.

CAMERAS AND RECORDERS

Professional photographic or audio/video re‑

cording equipment is strictly prohibited at all

Ravinia events and may not be brought into any

facility or used during any performance.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Ravinia’s Dining Pavilion features two restau‑

rants, a grab‑and‑go marketplace with hot food

stations and a fridge case, and a full‑service bar

with small‑plate bites. The Park View and Tree

Top restaurants serve dinner until concerts

start (call 847‑432‑7550 for reservations), and

the Lawn Bar serves through intermission at

Pavilion concerts. Visit

more information. Guests may also bring their

own food and beverages (including alcohol, for

guests 21 and older) for a picnic on the lawn, or

build and add to them at the Ravinia Market.

There are also several drink and ice cream carts

throughout the park on many nights. Pavilion

ticketholders may leave picnic gear at the back

of the venue when taking their seats. Food and

beverages are not allowed in reserved seats at

most concerts. Beverages may be brought into

the Pavilion when purchased and served in Ra‑

vinia’s special lidded souvenir cup, except during

classical concerts. Refills may be purchased at all

restaurant locations and drink carts.

CHAIR AND TABLE RENTAL

NO STREET PARKING

Please remember that Ravinia is located within

a residential neighborhood, so please keep noise

to a minimum while exiting and drive safely.

Parking on the residential streets surrounding

Ravinia is strictly prohibited. Highland Park Po‑

lice will issue fines to violators.

PARK AND RIDE

Ravinia’s free and handicap‑accessible shuttle

bus service makes continuous round trips be‑

tween Ravinia and off‑site parking lots before,

during, and after concerts in the Pavilion (ex‑

cept Kids Concerts and dance performances).

DROP-OFFS

All cars, taxis, limos, and ride‑share services

must comply with the following drop‑off pol‑

icies. Please alert your driver. Guests can be

dropped off at the following locations on most

nights; a valid Ravinia donor parking pass or

handicap parking permit must be presented for

access to Ravinia’s north and south lots.

• Ravinia’s west, north, and south parking lots

(inbound access is closed 30 minutes before

the performance ends and resumes 1 hour af‑

ter the performance)

• Braeside Metra train station (¼ mile away)

• Ravinia Metra train station (½ mile away)

Highland Park Police and Ravinia staff may

need to redirect vehicles for various reasons.

Please follow their instructions. Drop‑offs are

not allowed on public streets; drivers of viola‑

tors will be subject to fines from Highland Park

Police.

TRAIN SCHEDULE

Check the video screens near the box office

for the schedule of trains stopping at Ravinia’s

main entrance (Ravinia Park) after most sum‑

mer concerts. Visit

schedules and information, including addition‑

al trains stopping at the nearby Braeside and

Ravinia stations.

MEDICAL AID

A nurse and physician are on duty at every

performance. Contact the nearest usher or se‑

curity staff member in the event of a medical

emergency.
