MELISSA ERRICO,

Growing up on Long Island, Melissa Errico was
no stranger to the stage, from early interests in
ballet and gymnastics (in which she competed
nationally) to a passion for theater sparked by
summer arts camps. She made her professional
debut at age , during her freshman year at Yale,
when she was cast as Cosette in the rst national
tour of
Les Misérables
. A er three semesters, she
returned to the university and completed her
studies, subsequently attending Oxford to study
acting in programs dedicated to Shakespeare
and Chekhov. Errico then entered a graduate
program at Yale, but again she was called to the
stage to make her Broadway debut in an adap-
tation of
Anna Karenina
at Circle in the Square.
Her Broadway credits today include a revival
of
My Fair Lady
, in which she portrayed Eliza
Doolittle, and further star turns in
High Society
,
Amour
(which earned her a Tony nomination),
Dracula, the Musical
, and Irving Berlin’s
White
Christmas
. Errico has earned several Drama
Desk Award nominations for her o -Broadway
appearances, including
e Importance of Be-
ing Earnest
,
Major Barbara
,
Candida
, and two
productions of
Finian’s Rainbow
. In
, she
was selected by Stephen Sondheim to star in a
production of
Sunday in the Park with George
at the Kennedy Center, and in
she joined
the o -Broadway cast of
Passion
, which earned
her a sixth career Drama Desk nomination. Err-
ico has also appeared in multiple shows at the
Hollywood Bowl, from a reprise of Eliza in
My
Fair Lady
opposite John Lithgow to Guinevere
in
Camelot
opposite Jeremy Irons to Maria in
e Sound of Music
. On television, she held re-
curring roles in Steven Soderbergh’s
e Knick
(as Catherine) and Showtime’s
Billions
(as June),
and she also appeared in the series
Central Park
West
. Errico recently nished shooting for
e
Magni cent Meyersons
with Kate Mulgrew, add-
ing to her lm credits that also include
Frequen-
cy
and
Life or Something Like It
. In addition to
a solo discography of ve albums, she appeared
on the rst complete recording of Weill’s
One
Touch of Venus
in the title role, and she recently
contributed the song “Hurry Home” to the title
credits of the lm
