BRYAN ADAMS

A native of Canada, Bryan Adams has earned

more than a dozen Juno Awards and the Ca-

nadian recording academy’s Allan Waters Hu-

manitarian Award in addition to being named

to Canada’s Walk of Fame and Broadcast and

Music Halls of Fame and made a Companion

of the Order of Canada. Born in Ontario, Ad-

ams settled in Vancouver in the mid-’ s and

began to work as a background vocalist in CBC

studios and in clubs for local cover bands. Lat-

er that decade, he met songwriter and former
